Being in Nice, France is like entering a fairytale land. It has the most ancient-styled streets and actually, the buildings and parks are really ancient. They have been there for centuries now. Despite its society's modernity, Nice still remains a tourist destination in Europe. The Vieille Ville or the old town is just amazing! It's medieval at its finest. What I love most about Nice is the sun dial for it's just so authentic and unique. It really brings you back through time. The beaches and the markets are also, well, nice! Everything in Nice is nice!
Malta is not as famous as Rome or Britain, but it is exquisitely beautiful with its mixed cultures, of many European countries. The painting-worthy sceneries and the antique stores down Malta's streets are just something to see. Malta has a mix of everything, the nice Maltese villas, to the Italian restaurants, to old-English style buildings, and Rome and Britain's architectures, Malta is bits and pieces of Europe, you get to taste and experience Europe in one small but diverse place, Malta.

Eating like a true Greek can be a fun and boisterous experience. I recently watched the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding and it is no wonder why many Greeks own and manage restaurants. They highly regard dining as a social activity where formal manners are not commonly accepted. The greater the attendees and the louder the conversations and the clinking of plates and glasses, the better the atmosphere are for the Greeks. Serving spoons are not necessary as Greeks tend to get everything directly from the plates with spills and bumping into each other.

London is one of the most famous European cities. When you hear London, you'll automatically begin to sing the nursery rhyme, London bridge is falling down..., well, a lot of times, I do that, I just don't know about you. Anyway, the London bridge is actually very historic and significant. It's a bridge over the River Thames. There was an old one, which fell when the Romans left and it was actually repaired many times, until the new one was built, and replaced the old one.

Like in other cultures, European customs have certain influence on its people. It encourages order in activities and implementation of certain regulations. European people also follow certain types of greeting and farewell protocols, table setting and meal arrangements, and ceremony celebrations like St. Martin's Day in Europe.
Flanders, and some parts of Netherlands, Germany, and Austria celebrates St. Martin's Day on November 11. During this celebration, children go from one house to another house, bringing paper lanterns and candles while singing songs that are about St. Martin. Also, goose is the traditional food served in most European households to celebrate this holiday.

In the Polish Baptism, they perform an old Eastern European custom to the child. Before leaving the house on the day of the baptism, the father will say a prayer on the child for him or her to return home safe and sound. The service is held in the church, when the family goes back home, the child is placed outside the door; with the door closed. On the other side of the door, the mother along with the eldest stands; through the shut door, the eldest would recite to the child this traditional saying, "You have left this house a devil, now that you are baptized enter our home as an angel and may your life be long and healthy so that you may serve God."

My favorite European city, Paris... I can never get enough of this beautiful city!
I strolled around the park; my favorite is the Park Floral, with the fresh scent of the pinewood and the tulips. I visited the Squares, Place de la Concorde, such a wonderful sight, it's all so enchanting. I took a tour from the famous Louvre museum, it caught more attention after the best-selling novel, The Da Vinci Code came out, I am a fan, of course, but I wouldn't tell you the story, you have to go read it, a thrill to read, I might add; and then to the magnificent Eiffel tower, standing regally tall with its illuminating bright lights, very romantic indeed. The city of Paris is a destination perfect for everyone, most especially couples who wants to rekindle their romance, Paris is just stunning, and I'll keep coming back whenever I can! I would be devastated not to see Paris' bright lights again.

The city of Paris is designed in an almost circular path with the opera house at the center, but modern Paris is dominated by the Eiffel tower, the most favorite destination of tourists from around the world. Paris is also very well-known for its marvelous museums, one of which is the world-famous Louvre museum where the famous Mona Lisa is exhibited. Paris has outdoor cafes, along with the most expensive and almost iconic designer fashion boutiques, like Dior, Hermes, Chanel, and many more. Despite its modernity, it still retained its renaissance architecture, tres fabulous!
