Athens is the capital city of the majestic Greece. It lies in the heart of Grecian infrastructures and classical monuments. Among the enchnating cities of Europe, Athens stands out the best because of the classical aura and relics. It looks like a wide kingdom of Grecian gods and goddesses. Athens was modernized in 1834. It is currently the biggest city of Greece because it has more than 1/3 of Greek population. Its beauty lures millions of tourists every year.

Athens has grown into a full blown city and its modernity has brought many disadvantages to the Greek capital. Air pollution has also passed by the Athenian sky. However, the government of Greece made measures in order to get rid of the pollution and improve Athens' atmosphere. This is because the Olympic competition is usually held in Greece. To attract more tourists and visitors they have to take care of the Athenian atmosphere and sustain its beauty.

Sure, Athens is comparable to France in terms of historical affluence and grandiose beauty. But, both places have their uniqueness. France has a royal aura while Greece has a classic aura. Some say that France is better than Greece. For me, Greece is more elegant because of its gods and godesses. Even though Greece doesn't hold grand film festivals like Cannes in France, it is still rich in literature and culture.

Though an often neglected city, Albania remains as grandiose as ever like a normal European city. This city has a rich culture and ethnic history. It displays its beauty inside a diamond sphere and keeps its mystery all to itself. But, this mystery is revealed once you explore its intricate and palatial infrastructures. You will also know that Albania is the only jewel unique from other famous European places like France and Germany.

The thought of thousands of years of history is enough to convince to travel across Europe again. A week or even a month in Albania is not enough to discover its magic and explore its culture. I plan to go back there this Holiday season with my family. To go there is just easy, if you're asking me. All you need is to choose the most excellent hotel in Albania and reserve it now.

Being the jet-setter that I am, I always look forward for the time of the year when I have to leave home and travel to a foreign place to spark up my otherwise boring daily routine. This year I'm planning to fly to Tallin, one of the beautiful cities of Estonia. For many of you who may have heard Estonia for the first time (and Tallin as well), here is a brief description of the country.
Estonia is found in the Baltic region and known for its 1,000 magnificent islands. Because of it's sheer land mass, many point out that it's a small country when it's not. Estonia is even larger than Belgium, Denmark, and Holland. But despite that fact, Estonians are proud of their heritage. It's a member nation of EU but it still has it's own identity apart from the other member countries.
Tallin showcases both the old and the modern. Cobble-stoned streets are a commonplace, and so are the numerous museums that give the city dwellers a place to reminisce their past. It's no wonder Tallin is considered one of the largest and best preserved old cities in Europe. A good starting point to journey through Tallin's history is the Town Hall Square which is 800 years old. Also, the 700-year-old street of Rataskaevu, the oldest in Tallin, blows you into nostalgia. There's a lot more to do in Tallin than just sightseeing. Tallin, here I come!

From a bird's eye view, the city's landscape is covered with stylish buildings, unique architectural ensemble, and of course the distinctly Belgian landmark, the Atomium. It was my first glimpse of Brussels, Belgiums capital. This city is the best for tourists who simply want to experience not just Belgian chocolate, but the luxury and distinct character of any European city.
There are a lot of things that made my trip to Brussels extra special. It wasn't because I had a great seafood lunch at the L'Ane Vert, a local restaurant located at Rue Royale Ste Marie but because this city is a fusion of nothing but the best about northern culture. It was a 5-night vacation that I will forever cherish. Just the thought of the room at Hôtel Métropole where I stayed in makes me want to come back. The hotel was somewhat antique since it was built in the late 1900s; the lobby greeted me with enchanting Belgian crystal chandeliers lighting up the marble walls carved with Renaissance designs.
On my second day, I craved for Belgian chocolate so my guide took me to Pierre Marcolini to find some of the worlds most expensive pralines. It wasn't long when we headed to the Grand Place to do some ice skating. It's by far the best ice skating rink Ive seen in my life. There were too many things that i enjoyed doing in Brussels. It was worth the money that I've spent.

Cannes is a city in Southern France also called the Star of the French Riviera. It is well-know internationally for its film festival. It is also a popular place for the rich and the famous from all parts of the globe especially during the International Film Festival where Cannes attracts the biggest names in the world of acting. Tourist can take a tour along the famous La Croisette which is an amazing promenade for both local and foreign visitors. It gives you a view of the beaches of Cannes and the Mediterranean Sea.
One can also stroll along the Palais des Festivals, the hottest venues in Cannes for tourism and international festivals. It marks the end of the beaches on La Croisette. The Palais is famous for the handprints of famous Hollywood celebrities like Sharon Stone, Harrison Ford, and Martin Scorsese.
And if those attractions aren’t enough why not try a culinary journey through this bustling city. Restaurants serve sumptuous dishes whether you are craving for Italian, American, Greek, or Mexican food, name it they have it there. But if you'd rather opt for authentic French cuisine, then the list of restaurants and bars that offer them is endless. Cannes' finest dining places include La Villa des Lys, La Palme d'Or, the Royal Gray and the Belle Otéro. These restaurants serve delicious gastronomic delights that will surely be a feast to the palate.

I bet you are not familiar with the German city named Stuttgart. But if you love beer, then this place is a must for you. This city celebrates two beer fests in a year, one is the Fruhlings' fest during springtime and the other is the Cannstatter fest held during fall.
The city has a very old history which dates back to the 10th Century. No wonder there are a number of old buildings and structures like the Palace Solitude which was built in the 1760s. The palace is a cross between rococo and classic architecture. The New Palace, which is a U-shaped building, has over 365 rooms. It serves as house to the Baden-Württemberg's State Government. However, it is not new at all; the palace was built during the 17th Century. The city also abounds with art museums both old and new. The very modern Kunstmuseum Stuttgart is described as a glass cube museum because the building looks like a giant glass cube from the outside.
Stuttgart is a good place for tourists because it doesn't only offer amazing scenery but also their warm and friendly people. You need not worry if you're not well-versed with German language because a tourist can get by with minimal language skills.

When I walked down the Stroget, the world's longest pedestrian street I felt like I was transported into time. It’s probably because of Copenhagen's 17th Century architecture which is very distinctive and attractive, reminiscent of the time when Hans Christian Andersen lived. This Danish capital is a sure steal for tourists like no other city in this part of Scandinavia because it offers great shopping, exquisite dining, and a whole lot of other activities.
Copenhagen is Scandinavia's largest city. The city can be synonymous with the words bright, lively, and friendly. The city's sky-scraper will surely captivate anyone. But the biggest attraction in this city is the Tivoli Gardens which is a sort of a mini-Disneyland. The only difference is that it is also a fancifully-manicured park. The Tivoli Garden was established in 1843 and since then it has enchanted people from all over the world. The park is located right in the middle of the city. It is a sure hit for the young and young-at-heart because it feels like you are in a fairytale village.
When in Copenhagen, you might want to go to the Christianborg Palace that houses the Danish Parliament and Denmark's Supreme Court. It is used for royal receptions and official engagements up until this day. One should not miss to visit the statue of the Little Mermaid which is considered the essence of Copenhagen. The Little Mermaid statue was based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale "The Little Mermaid," which is also a hit Disney animated movie. It attracts over one million tourists annually.

A seasoned traveler would know that one of the best places to go to in Europe is Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland. It is certainly one of the most beautiful cities in all Europe and maybe the entire planet. Located in the heart of the country, Zurich still possesses its 19th century charm that is a real come-on to tourists all over. The city abounds with majestic museums and architectures. The Museum of Art in Zurich has a collection of art pieces that date back to the 1600s while the Gothic cathedral of The Church of our Lady is of the more prominent architectural creations in the city with its colorful stained glass windows. Another place of interest for tourists is the Swiss National Museum which is in a historic castle in Zurich. The Museum houses a collection of unique artifacts that play a role in the history of the country.
For tourists who love to shop Zurich would be a good place to do just that. The best shops and boutiques in Zurich are found in the narrow streets between the Bahnhofstrasse and the river of Limmat. A caveat though, be sure to bring enough cash because these streets are famous for its reputation of being the most expensive street in the world. A trip to Zurich would also not be complete without experiencing its nightlife. There are a lot of cool hangout places in the city. Some of the more popular are Blindekuh where you can rub elbows with fashionable Zurchers, Jules Verne which is found atop a building giving a wonderful night view of the Zurich cityscape and Moods, a bar for the trendy ones. Jazz bands play here almost every night.
Accommodation in this city is never a problem for tourists. One of the best hotels among the 83 hotels in Zurich is the Widder Hotel, where you can get to experience lovely ambiance, sumptuous food and impeccable service. Another is the Arabella Sheraton Neues Schloss, a 3-star hotel that has 58 rooms. It boasts of its great location, good service, and great value for tourists.

Amsterdam is the capital of Netherlands that, according to legends, was found by two Frisian fishermen who landed on the shore of Amstel on a boat. In a geogrpahical point of view the city may seem small but with the rich culture it feels more like a big city with a variety of choices for activity.
Amsterdam is notable for it's museums, the major three are: the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk and the Van Gogh. The city is also famous for it's symphony orchestra, the Concertgebouworkest. Being in Nice, France is like entering a fairytale land. It has the most ancient-styled streets and actually, the buildings and parks are really ancient. They have been there for centuries now. Despite its society's modernity, Nice still remains a tourist destination in Europe. The Vieille Ville or the old town is just amazing! It's medieval at its finest. What I love most about Nice is the sun dial for it's just so authentic and unique. It really brings you back through time. The beaches and the markets are also, well, nice! Everything in Nice is nice!

London is one of the most famous European cities. When you hear London, you'll automatically begin to sing the nursery rhyme, London bridge is falling down..., well, a lot of times, I do that, I just don't know about you. Anyway, the London bridge is actually very historic and significant. It's a bridge over the River Thames. There was an old one, which fell when the Romans left and it was actually repaired many times, until the new one was built, and replaced the old one.
